Bug Description

After this upgrade on Gutsy amd64:
libc6 (2.6.1-1ubuntu8) to 2.6.1-1ubuntu9
libc6-dev (2.6.1-1ubuntu8) to 2.6.1-1ubuntu9
libc6-i386 (2.6.1-1ubuntu8) to 2.6.1-1ubuntu9

wine 3d apps and an nspluginwrapper'd flash playing youtube on amd64 all act very jittery, occasionally dropping to 0 cpu. Downgrade to ubuntu8 fixes the problem.

Thanks for reporting, but somehow I doubt that libc6 is the blame in my case. I started noticing it either a day before or somewhere around when 2.6.1-1ubuntu8 came around. So libc6 is either not to blame or I haven't noticed it's got worse yet. :-/

Interesting. Well, I had the exact same issue and the downgrade solved it completely for me, so that's all I can say.

The upgrade works for me now though, odd, maybe because of the recent 32bit library updates.. Who knows.
