Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg-driver-fglrx

The newest fglrx claims to support the ATI PCI-E Radeon X1600 graphics card. When I activate it, the screen goes black when trying to log on to X. The computer seems frozen, I'm not able to get into any terminal through ctrl+alt+fn.

Please try with Hardy which has a newer driver.
