IBM T21 with Xircom mini-modem lan card hangs on boot.

Bug Description

After the 02/10/07 upgrades when the 'Starting up' message appears the systems hangs. And error with IRQ 9 being low is reported in ACPI Lynksys, the machine then hangs. Removal of the built-in Xircom mini Modem/Lan card, IBM FRU 19K5884 stops the problem occurring. I should not this error also occurred with the previous Gutsy update to a new kernel.

Previous kernel update reported IRQ11 as being the problem.

I was also able to put the card back in after minor updates subsequent to the kernel update, however with this latest update the problem has re-occured.

Machine passes memtest checks, since I have heard IRQ11 can relate to faulty memory, however this does not appear to be the cause in this case.
