Bug Description

Binary package hint: compizconfig-settings-manager

When selecting System --> Preferences --> Appearance, then going to the Visual Effects tab, and clicking on the "Preferences" button (which would open the tool provided by the compizconfig-settings-manager package), and then in the CompizConfig Settings Manager checking the box to enable "Opacify" causes my panels to go invisible. I kept clicking on it to see what would happen, and for the most part, clicking it "on" causes the panels to go invisible, and clicking it "off" causes them to reappear. Even when invisible, the panels are still there, because I was able to click an icon on one of them while invisible.

At one point, unchecking "Opacify" caused my panels to go invisible (instead of when checked "on"), but this could have been due to my rapid clicking to test this problem. For the most part, checking "Opacify" made my panels invisible, while unchecking "Opacify" made them visible again.

I have an Intel 945GM graphics controller, GNOME, Gutsy beta, and Compiz Fusion.
