Bug Description
It used to work after my initial installation of feisty... at least, most of the time... when I wasn't docked.
Now the process freezes, with the suspend light still blinking and the fan still running.
$ uname -a
Linux grogan 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Sun Sep 23 19:50:39 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
I turned on "set -x" in /etc/acpi/sleep.sh and captured the output. That is enclosed, along with the usual requested info.

How about suspend to disk (hibernate)?
I have a similar problem on my Acer laptop (see bug #146397).
