Good evening,

I am working on triaging/troubleshooting bugs today, and am wondering if you could please provide some further information for this bug. What version of Kubuntu are you using? Is it completly up to date? What version of KDE are your running?

Also are you still having this problem? Could you please be more specific in describing what exactly is happening when it crashes?

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi,

thanks for responding...

* Kubuntu version: 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) (not up to date)
* KDE version: 3.5.6

The problem still exists...

Mostly Konqueror is crashing when im entering a directory, with an "active" search string.
For example:
Searching in the directory "sub-sample" after "a" will works (but not always).
changing from the directory "sample"to "sub-sample" still with the search string, will crash Konqueror (reproduceable).

Sorry for having not so much information, but i dont know how to collect more...

Good afternoon,

I spent some time trying to reproduce this bug on both my Gutsy and Hardy installation and am unable to do so. I know you must hate me always asking if this bug still exists, but when I search in Konqueror I have no problems with the search bar and it crashing.

Can you please update this bug again?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Marking this bug as invalid due to lack of response from the initital requestor. If you are still having problems with Konqueror crashing when using the search-bar please reopen this bug. I use the search bar all the time on m 8.04 install with out any problems.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug to Ubuntu.

Jonathan
