Bug Description

I just installed Wily daily server iso on an Intel NUC. During the install I saw the installer find em1 as the nic and correctly install things. Post install the /etc/network/interfaces file has "em1" (as I expected) but ifconfig says the interface is really "eno1" and that is not configured.

This bug was fixed in the package debian-installer - 20101020ubuntu393

---------------
debian-installer (20101020ubuntu393) wily; urgency=medium

  * build/pkg-lists/base: drop biosdevname. The standard binary is now in
universe so not typically installed on systems, and it otherwise conflicts
with the interface naming from systemd/udev. (LP: #1498595)
  * Move master kernels to 4.2.0-11.
