Bug Description

Hello,

Installed Gusty today (Oct. 7.2007) on both my computers. Both of them now have no sound, and get this error when testing the sound in >sounds:

Failed to construct test pipeline for 'gconfaudiosrc ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink profile=chat'

Both worked before the upgrade. I did a bug search, and I've seen this error around, but it's all talking about recording. I'm not recording.

I will post all the info requested on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DebuggingSoundProblems to help to make a fix. Thanks!

First my laptop, and then I'll post my desk top info.

Like I said these were for my laptop. I will post my desktop's info in the morning due to it being very late.

Thanks

Moose
