Bug Description

When reverse scroll direction option is enabled in mouse options of Xfce (on Xubuntu 15.10) the scroll doesn't work at all in Mousepad and it's stuck at the upper part of the text file. I have to disable it to be able to scroll using touchpad.

Not seeing that with a mouse in a vm.

What I'm seeing is that scroll works normally - regardless of setting chosen.

(Incidentally works in xenial as intended)

I tried switching it off and on multiple times and it doesn't work at all when reversed but works totally fine when it's not. I've also found this related bug, I think:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-settings/+bug/1368402

Although in Ubuntu Software Center the scrolling is working fine but not reversed even if the reversed option is checked.

In the Mouse & Touchpad System Settings, the 'Natural scrolling' checkbox makes on difference, as observed in applications/etc and also the 'Test Your Settings' feature of the Mouse & Touchpad settings.

I can't help but think this is something to do with the error I get at bootup where some daemon crashed ... this is in syslog which might give a clue - it says it is uploading it, so I guess it is filed somewhere :

I wonder if this also explains why multimonitor support doesn't seem to work, and my wifi doesn't reconnect when I open my laptop from sleep...(power management daemon too?).

I see this issue. Running native (not a VM) on a Dell laptop Latitude E64XX,. Natural scroll does not happen in Mousepad, but seems to work fine everywhere else (that I have noticed). This is using a USB mouse. I have yet to get touchpad working at all, so not sure about that device.
