Bug Description
Binary package hint: grub
Installed x86 Gutsy beta to the secondary 250Gb SATA drive on an HP dx5150 with Windows Vista on the primary 160Gb SATA drive. Grub was installed to MBR of primary disk. On rebooting after the install, there is no grub menu item to allow Vista to be selected. Added Vista to menu.lst and all well. However, both kernel upgrades since I installed Gutsy (currently running 2.6.22-14) have again deleted the Vista option from menu.lst.

You can avoid the Vista option being deleted by taking greater care over where you put it in menu.lst. It must be outside the "BEGIN/END AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST" markers.
