wlan not ready link error

Bug Description

every morning i boot up and get a fight with my wifi
i got network manager and a script which i can use but i still have to fight with the wifi it wont get an ip from dhcp for like the first 120 tries, then all of a sudden im online ?
anyone know what might be causing such wierd problems?
Windows XP works fine no issues on wifi.

 kernel: [ 152.971392] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready
 kernel: [ 153.209924] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlan0: link becomes ready
this is from my var messages logs/

im running 64 bit version of gutsy but i know this to be such an issue with the fiesty too when i had it.

 sudo grep -i 'wireless' /var/log/dmesg

I can confirm this bug. It happens very often if the wireless is disconnected from the wireless server for more than a few minutes. However, if it does connected to a wireless network, it in general will take 2-3 hours before it crashes.

The 18 month support period for Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 has reached its end of life -

linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22 task. It would be helpful if you could test the
new Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 release and confirm if this issue remains -

release, please update this report by changing the Status of the "linux (Ubuntu)"
