Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

after upgrading from RC CD installation to latest packages on Sunday 14 october, power manager icon disappeard from tray bar. Going to System -> preferences -> energy show no more a tab to handle battery mode. Analysis of /proc show informations on battery are available, only gnome isn't supporting it anymore. This make it impossible to handle the battery on my notebook (acer aspire 7720G for information), ask it to go suspend mode when screen is closed or to shutdown on low battery.

Trying to manually load the gnome-power-manager application give this:

tchize@aspirine:~$ gnome-power-manager
Erreur de segmentation (core dumped)
tchize@aspirine:~$

gnome-power-bugreport.sh attached
