Bug Description

The following is a persistent error during the update process from Feisty to 7.10.

Error during update

A problem occured during the update. This is usually some sort of network problem, please check your network connection and retry.

Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/feisty-updates/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz Sub-process gzip returned an error code (1)

The process stalls at this point when "Fetching file 17 of 28".

It's most probably because the servers are overloaded. You should try again later.
