Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Distribution: Gutsy (7.10)
When I click "logout" the the screen kind of freezes (mouse is still movable but nothing reacts any more). By trial and error I found that when killing the "gnome-power-manager" application finally the logout screen is displayed and I can logout normally. Otherwise killing X with Ctrl+Alt+Backspace is the only way out.

just some additional information: When pressing the computers power button then the logout dialogue is displayed correctly.

since the latest updates from 2007-10-22 the problem seems to be solved. I will monitor it for a while and come back later.
