Bug Description
To reproduce make sure that you are not using the openbox menu when using the second mouse click to bring up a menu on the desktop. To do this run pcmanfm --desktop-pref make the box for show menus provided by window managers when desktop is clicked is not selected. The right click on an empty part of the desktop with no icon when pcmanfm is used to draw the desktop.
I have found this on lubuntu xenial. I did not really expect this to be an option or for it to exist anyway. I mean the only real way for inverse selection. However this would basically become a redunandt version of the select all button if it did work. So does this need removing?

It rather requires fixing, not removing. Thank you for reporting this.
