Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Any application crashes on opening the Tools menu and choosing any of the options therein. I didn't try the Print option in the File menu yet.

Environment: Ubuntu 7.10 (just updated)
OpenOffice 2.30

Sorry, but I'm completely new with Linux (ubuntu). So far I am quite happy
with it and wish to learn more.

What do you mean by "gtk theme". If you're refering to the desktop theme,
I'm using one that comes with ubuntu 7.10.

I'm using the "crux" gtk theme. OpenOffice Writer is excellent, I've used it without a hitch in the past. Only now does it crash when I attempt to print, to spellcheck, access the Paragraph settings to tweak my formatting, attempt to access Tools / Options.
