Bug Description
Binary package hint: pidgin
When I login to Pidgin I can send messages via my other two accounts, msn & yahoo, but my aim account won't receive messages and now won't let me send messages. I get the "User is offline" message each time I attempt to send.

I can send messages to AIM users with Pidgin just fine. Are you sure that the users aren't indeed off-line? In contrast to off-line ICQ users, off-line AIM users cannot receive messages and "collect" them later when they log in.
Also, AOL has a feature that allows users to be "reachable by SMS" only. They appear on-line in the buddy list, but when you try to message them (no matter whether you are using AOL, AIM, Pidgin or any client) you get the error message that they aren't really on-line. Inside AOL one then has the option to SMS them (for money). Inside AOL, they have a cell phone icon besides their name, but Pidgin (and I think even AIM) cannot display it.
