Bug Description
tried to upgrade from feisty to ubuntu 7.10, via cd-rom. something failed. now, my system does not recognize any distribution upgrade available.
trying again to upgrade via synaptic and cd-rom.
the system ask for a partial upgrade, which fails.

Do you have a file /var/log/
Did you upgrade using just the CD without any network? Or did you enable network access during the upgrade?
