Now that fglrx support AIGLX, fglrx should be whitelisted or ati cards no more blacklisted

That would really depend on whether or not this version of the fglrx driver is updated... I believe the version in Gutsy at the moment is still 8.37?

We do not have this version of fglrx in gutsy so the settings in gutsy are valid.

I think this is more about upgrading the fglrx module in Gutsy... unfortunately, I think this isn't possible with the current policies, not even with a backport request. I think the best thing to do is to nominate this bug for Hardy (i.e. request that Hardy ship with this version of fglrx along with the necessary X.org configuration changes).

I may be wrong on this one, though.
