Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-kio-plugins

Running Kubuntu Gutsy with KDE 3.5.8, the USB devide contextual menu shows an item labeled "e=Safely remove". Obviously, the "e=" is not necessary. Despite this annoyance, the "Safely remove" function works well.

Well, actually, it is only a problem with the Spanish translation. When using KDE in Spanish, the contextual menu shows an item labeled "e=Extraccion segura". There's no problem in English and in French.

Is this still an issue with the latest Kubuntu? (Could you also test with kde4?)

I don't know for Kubuntu 8.04, since I moved to Ubuntu (Gnome) and for now, I don't have another Kubuntu machine available...

Sorry.

No issue anymore in Kubuntu 8.04 in spanish (KDE 3.5.9). The contextual menu now shows: "Extracción segura", as expected.

That's great. We can close this then. :)
Thanks to both of you for helping improve Kubuntu.
