I can't creat a hp network printer in Ubuntu 7.10

Bug Description

My network printer is HP 1320n series. I choose the default system printer manager to install my printer. I use the HP JetDirect and type the ip of my printer. Every things left were be chosen as default and the driver is correct (HP 1320 series). However the end of uri of my printer looks like strange. It be tailed with a mask code. You can look this situation in the link below:

I can't print the test page with my printer.

I think the strange mask is due to my system language. If a choose English as a default language, the strange mask disappear (see the attachment), but I still can't print with my printer.

When I change to Chinese which is my mother tongue the strange mask appears again.

Please provide the information described here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems, especially your cups error_log after trying to print the ubuntu test page and the output of the printingbug info script.
Are you able to print from other applications e.g. gedit?
