my system is 16.04.1 , apt-get is installing for 16.04.2

The installation is aborting because it detects a MariaDB 10.0 installation in your /var/lib/mysql directory (the flag file).

Running MySQL 5.7 on a MariaDB database is not supported, so you will need to remove the MariaDB data before installing MySQL
