Totem disables second screen in fullscreen

Bug Description

Totem is totem-gstreamer-2..20.0-0ubuntu3 from Gutsy.

I have an Xrandr 1.2 dualhead configuration working for my Radeon x800xl (with the free drivers). When making totem go into full-screen mode, it disables one of the screens, and I have to re-enable dualhead manually.

One would guess that it's confused by Xrandr 1.2 somehow (also the Gnome resolution properties show only modes up to 1920x1200, which is the native resolution of the single monitor). Totem should rather not touch xrandr at all if it doesn't know what to do with it... This makes it useless as a video player on xrandr 1.2 multihead configurations.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at [WWW] http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ .

Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

I just tested the bug in Hardy. Opened a video with totem on full-screen mode on the second screen and the issue appears to be solved. I had no problems stopping and playing the video over and over again. Also I let it run until the end and it behaved as it should.

Hope this confirms that we can close this bug. Rock on!
