kuser crash when adding/remove group from user account

Bug Description

When I run kuser from konsole with the following command,
sudo kuser

Kuser crashed with SIGNAL 11 (SIGSEGV).
Konsole shows the following log
KCrash: Application 'kuser' crashing...
Error: "/tmp/kde-clh48" is owned by uid 500 instead of uid 0.
Link points to "/tmp/kde-root"

The same thing happens when I run kuser from the menu or with
kdesu kuser
gksudo kuser
But without the Konsole log message, only signal 11 message from Kcrash (KDE
crash handler)

I am running Kubuntu Hoary 5.04 i386 Release (installed from DVD)
package:
kuser 3.4.0-0ubuntu1
depends on :
kdelibs4 3.4.0-0ubuntu3.1
libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20ubuntu13
libgcc1 4.0-0pre6ubuntu7
libqt3c102-mt 3.3.3-7ubuntu3
libstdc++5 3.3.5-8ubuntu2

Dapper is using kde-guidance for Users & Groups. Kuser is not maintained anymore, therefore if you want this fixed in kcontrol, you need to submit bug to bugs.kde.org.
