Bug Description
Hi friends here is (as promised on the GNOME control center bug) yet another app wich breaks the GNOME's UX and UI with a horrible menubar, could you patch it? GThumb is a default app in Ubuntu budgie and I think it shall be uniform on the system, I am in Ubuntu budgie 17.10

In summary - git format-patch a commit made upstream after this current release
Tested on Ubuntu Budgie - confirmed the appmenu correctly displays without the extra menu i.e. the same way as on Zesty.
Tested on GNOME-Session - confirmed the appmenu displays in the panel with the expected simplified menu in the headerbar.
