I cannot open files wordprocessor. Openoffice goes in crash.

What specific version of openoffice are you running? You an find the specific version by running the following in a Terminal: dpkg -l "openoffice.org" . Also, is it a specific file you are trying to open? If so, care to attach it as well? Thanks.
