Bug Description

screen completely froze and filled with chaos. Unable to do anything at all - no ttys were accessible so had to hard reboot.
Was watching a video on totem at the time of the crash

This has happened to me several times too. Once when i was one running virutalbox, shutting down my windows xp VM and once when i clicked on a link in evolution which opened in firefox. Because this bug is so unpredicatble, it could be hard to get a backtrace without running xorg under gdb all the time.

Happen to me also. usually happens then some video application is minimized and then restored. Then Xors restarts and everything is OK. sometimes happens at random places like start of shutdown, or completely random. Then yuo have no choise to recovery, because nothing works. Even SysRq+b does nothimg .
Compiz fusion has no effect. Happens with or without it.
