Bug Description

Binary package hint: libqt3-mt

I deceided to triboot with Debian unstable and I decided to go and grab the kde-systemsettings package from ubuntu because I happen to like it better than kcontrol. Turns out I can't install because someone decided to messup the version number of this package.
"The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  kde-systemsettings: Depends: libqt3-mt (>= 3:3.3.8really3.3.7) but 3:3.3.7-9 is to be installed
E: Broken packages"
so why hasn't this been caught and fixed, its the same version even in the hardy repos.

There is nothing really to be done. Somebody accidentally released 3.3.7 as 3.3.8 once upon a time, and you can't go and make the next libqt3-mt release have a lower version than the last release, which is what the really3.3.7 bit is about.

Changed in qt-x11-free:
