Log out process stuck

Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpi-support

When i press Log out button near the clock im always get stuck.
The box needed for restart/shutdown/etc appears after minutte.
When I first time started Ubuntu there was no such problem,but when I install updates/disabled some services/seances or...? I dont know....
This problem really annoying and i want to fix it...
Pls help im new at LInux...

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?
