Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

When you open an administrative application, this box comes up, and then the password box appears. I type in the password and the application runs, but this box remains there above all other windows until I log out and back in. It can't be killed, switching desktops does nothing.
Video is GeForce 8800 GTS.
Ubuntu 7.10

Hi Nattgew,

I'm unable to reproduce this issue in a Hardy Alpha release, compiz version 1:0.7.0-0ubuntu1. The issue is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test and verify if this issue still exists for you in the development release. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
