Bug Description

There is a new upstream version 68.6.0 available which fixes several medium and high risk security vulnerabilities.
Please release a new Ubuntu package ASAP - see the Debian project, which has already done so.

68.6.0 is available in focal (the upcoming 20.04), and is being backported to all supported releases.

thank you for your fast reply. Is there a ticket, portal, mailing list (etc.) where I can see the status of the backporting (e.x for 18.04)?

There is no other tracker than this bug report. For 18.04 and 19.10, the update is ready and is only pending validation and publication by the security team, I expect this will happen shortly.
