Bug Description

i cannot complete the final step in installation on my Toshiba Sat. laptop. When i restart the computer asks for a a built in HDD1 password.

Did you use the live CD? Can you use this to get files off the computer?

What is the model of your laptop? Which drives does it have?

Could you attach the following:

/var/log/syslog
/var/log/partman
/var/log/kern.log

We probably need other things too but I'm not sure what.
