Bug Description

Binary package hint: octave3.0

In order to be able to zoom in, I compiled a CVS snapshot of gnuplot 4.3.

The ./prepare then ./configure procedure auto-detected the development libraries and headers and compilers present on the system, and activated all possible options for them.

octave2.9, using that gnuplot executable, when plotting graphs, shows a window with (wxWidget) toolkit buttons making it easy to navigate back and forth in the list of zooms.

However, with octave3.0, the wxWidgets buttons do not appear any more. They were quite convenient and useful.

Is there any way to get them back? (qtoctave doesn't seem to even take into account the --exec-path= option).

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?
