Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When typing "3rd period" in oowriter (OpenOffice 2.3), oowriter automatically switched to superscript after the "3", but failed to switch back to normal font after hitting the space bar.

This worked fine for me on both Ubuntu 7.10 openoffice.org 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5.3 and Ubuntu Hardy (8.04) openoffice.org 1:2.3.1-3ubuntu3. Which version of Ubuntu and exact version of openoffice.org packages were you using when you saw this bug?

Hi Chris,

Even though I'm not a total newbie, I seemed to have rushed a bit in the
name of helping out with bug reports. When the superscript problem
happened I was writing inside a table, but now that I try to reproduce
the bug everything is working well. Thanks for your prompt response; in
the future I'll try to be more cool headed.
