Last-Translator: <email address hidden> is vulnerable to spam harvesters

Bug Description

"Last-Translator: forname name <email address hidden>\n"

is automatically added to every .po file exported from Launchpad. The .po files are often available via web-interfaces (SVN) of the various projects and show the email address in clear which can then be picked up by spam bots. Some sort of harvester protection would be nice: <email AT address com> or whatever.

Fixed in RF 5671

I fixed this at the same time I fixed bug #190145

If you set your email address as private in Launchpad, we don't export it, just your name.

We are going to change it soon to set it to the URL to your Launchpad profile so maintainers are still able to contact you.

Changed in rosetta:
assignee: nobody → carlos
importance: Undecided → Critical
milestone: none → 1.2.2
status: New → Fix Released
