happened during daily upgrade.
may be a duplicate of 192992 but I don't have the technical knowledge to distinguish the wording.

Hmm, it the same problem on my Hardy 8.04LTS Alpha4 UpToDate (x86) System!

MB: Intel D865PERL
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.2 (S478)
Ram: 2x 1Gb Dual PC-3200
GPU: X1950Pro 512Mb AGP
Sound: Audigy2 Platinum EX
