gnome-mount does not mount luks encrypted usb-drive

Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-mount
I'm using a LUKS encrypted ext2 partitition on an usb stick to store some data.
I expect following:
After sticking in, gnome-mount opens a dialog (like [1]) where it asks the passphrase, after that it mounts the luksOpened cleartext-mapper.
What happens:
nothing visuable.
In /dev/disk/by-uuid there is a symlink created to the LUKS partition on my stick.

Followed instructions in [2], gvm.log, udev.log, lshal.txt, dmesg.txt and devices.txt will be there as attachements.

This was filed as a new bug, because other bugs concerning gnome-mount / gnome-volume- manager and luks encrypted volumes showed up a dialog to open the volumes.
This does not happen here.
