Bug Description

First sync with Debian, needed to build the intel_reg_dump tool, although this would have to enter main as well (in the next release at the latest, since xorg-server 1.5 & all the video drivers depend on libpciaccess).

libpciaccess (0.9.1+git20080219-1) unstable; urgency=low

   * Add a symbols file for libpciaccess.so.0.
   * Bump shlibs to >= 0.8.0+git20071002 (this version added the
     pci_device_{un,}map_range functions)
   * Bump Standards-Version to 3.7.3.
   * New upstream snapshot.
   * Fix build on non-linux glibc architectures.

libpciaccess (0.8.0+git20071002-1) experimental; urgency=low

   * Debian stores its pci.ids list in /usr/share/misc. Use that for the
     --with-pciids-path configure option so the library can fill in certain
     values correctly
   * New upstream git pull
   * Add myself to uploaders

libpciaccess (0.8.0+git20070628-1) experimental; urgency=low

   * New upstream snapshot.
   * Make configure executable in debian/rules clean (closes: #430932); thanks,
     Frank Lichtenheld!

libpciaccess (0.8.0+git20070613-1) experimental; urgency=low

   * Initial upload (closes: #428776).

The only package which depends on this is a candidate for removal (xserver-xorg-video-avivo).

New upstream version, needs ack from motu-release. Also, the description is a little confusing, what about this intel_reg_dump tool?

It's some tool to help debugging, never used it myself but it was recently included in Debian, and dropped from our package because libpciaccess is too old (and not in main).

I'll just close this, the package is not really needed until drivers are built against xserver 1.5, so it'll get synced for intrepid when the time comes.

I'm reopening because a request did come in from Jesse Barnes for having intel_reg_dump available for end users. It would be nice to have this in main, but for the time being, simply getting it sync'd to 0.10 would be enough to enable users to manually build the tool when needed.

Package successfully migrated to testing already. Since you'll be dealing with this in the future anyways, ACK #1 from me.

Timo, any news on testing yet?

This should be synced now to get the latest version in Intrepid, and after that move to main.
