Bug Description
Binary package hint: efax
The command `fax send 0123456 foo.ps` usually doesn't terminate after successfully sending a fax and hanging up. (I verify that it has hung up by pressing the speaker button on the phone and getting a dial-tone. The faxes are going through.)
I end up having to use ps and kill -9 to stop the processes, then I have to rm the lockfile manually (or else I have to do that before I try it again).
On rare occasions, it does terminate after sending and hanging up and it always (I think) terminates when it finishes unsuccessfully.
(I first reported this to Debian in 2004: http://
Package: efax 1:0.9a-19
Distribution: Ubuntu gutsy
Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?
