Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I've been trying just now to update my podcasts, and r-b keeps crashing.

1) launch r-b
2) go to Podcasts section
3) click the refresh button
4) double click on a new podcast to download it
5) *boom*

burner@phoenix:~$ apt-cache policy rhythmbox

I've also got the same in bug 209787. I also thought it is connected to podcasts, although wasn't sure.

Having the same problem here. I began using a different program to handle podcasts and it hasn't crashed on me since.

Same problem here.

I'm not sure it's connected, but my podcasts are not all being updated (when they do update). The feed does not show a new podcast when I update it, even though I am quite certain there is a new podcast. My fix for this has been deleting the troublesome feed and then re-adding it.

When I need to update all my podcasts, I've first updated one podcast feed, individually, and then updated them en-masse and this keeps RB from crashing. I'm not, however, convinced that they are being updated properly (as explained above).

This issue is driving me nuts.
