Bug Description

Binary package hint: lirc

the lircd.conf file can be found here http://lircconfig.commandir.com/lircd.conf/?viewremote=104
it uses to devinput driver.
There's a piece of my hardware.conf file

Hi, thanks for filing this. I've added this lircd.conf, but would like to make sure you submit this upstream. We prefer to not carry a patch that is only on our level, so the sooner that upstream gets it, the sooner we can all benefit. Please send it to the LIRC mailing list.

Ok thank you, I'v done the feature request for this file to be added to the lirc remote database. I've asked for it on sourceforge.net, hope that's how it has to be done.

Hello,

In fact I think you didn't choose the right driver for this remote, it is supposed to use the devinput driver not the lirc_i2c dev_lirc drivers like in the patch.
