Bug Description

Binary package hint: easycrypt

There is a bad bug in 0.2.2.8 that makes EasyCrypt hang if when creating a Crypt with password between 12 and 19 characters long

This can only be stopped by the command

sudo pkill -9 truecrypt

its a bad bug and I would like to get it out for Hardy

Invalid as 0.2.2.9 is only a bugfix release

I am confused, I thought bugfix-only releases were the perfect candidates for this, and especially important bugs as well?
