Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" [WWW] http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at [WWW] http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures

 At a minimum, we need:
 1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
 2. the behavior you expected, and
 3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
 Thanks!
Please report your liferea version and ubuntu version.

Thanks Jonh. I don't seem to be able to reproduce this, but I'll have a look at it.

I can confirm this, happens usually (not always) if you close liferea when it's updating the feed list and the 'feed update notification bubble' is visible on the screen. My backtrace is identical, using liferea 1.4.14-0ubuntu3 and xulrunner 1.9~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu1.

apport doesn't notify about the crash, but stale lock file is left in ~/.liferea_1.4/mozilla/liferea/ directory.

I've reported this upstream, and he has already committed a fix for this to SVN.

I've applied that revision and uploaded a package to my PPA to test it, could you please see if it fixes it?
