Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I run 'do-release-upgrade -d', (answer yes to the "ew you came over ssh to do this" question), and then ask for details and then answer 'no' to the "do the upgrade?" question.

After doing so on a dapper machine, /etc/apt/sources.list.distUpgrade contains a copy of /etc/apt/sources.list, rather than the system being restored to its pre-do-release-upgrade state.
