Bug Description
Binary package hint: casper
Installing OpenGEU from LiveCD Instance running in VMWare workstation on Ubuntu Heron, got a "Installer crashed" dialog box with the following details:
-------
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/
File "/usr/lib/
File "/usr/lib/
File "/usr/lib/
File "/usr/lib/
RuntimeError: Install failed with exit code 1
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/
File "/usr/share/
File "/usr/share/
File "shutil.py", line 24, in copyfileobj fdst.write(buf)
IOError: [Errno 28] No space left on device
-------
Now that I've typed all of that, the last line is probably the key--I'd tried the VM with only 2Gb of space allocated, evidently not enough. A more helpful error message or a available space check at the start of the install routine could be useful.
