could not install amba Common, upgrade will continue but samba package could be in a not working state

Bug Description

Binary package hint: samba

could not install Samba COmmon on Version 8.04 LTS. as subprocess post install script returned error exit status 1. I now have message on screen but am unable to do anything with it. the message is asking if I want to keep local version of samba server, which I do

Could you post the logs of the upgrade ? They can be found in /var/log/dist-upgrade/.
