CompizFusion crashes when I try to switch workspaces while in Scale

Bug Description

Running Gutsy on an AMD64 laptop, Intel Mobile 945GM graphics card.

While using CompizFusion's Scale plugin, I accidentally hit my hotkey for rotating my desktop cube to the next workspace. My computer hanged for about 30 seconds, and then Compiz went down (or at least most of the plugins - style had reverted to GNOME default with Ubuntu colors, there were only the two workspaces of the default Ubuntu setup)

Expected behavior: Preferably, the cube should rotate, and I should see the Scaled out version of the next workspace over. Failing that, the current workspace should un-Scale, and I should see th next workspace in normal form. At the very worst, the rotate action should just be disabled during Scale.

Not sure about the xorg assignment - X itself doesn't crash (I still have a windowed environment and a running xorg server after this bug is reproduced - it's just that the compiz process dies)

Since compiz is crashing but xorg isn't, I'm refiling accordingly.

Here's a screenshot after the crash - Compiz restarts, but without most of the plugins, under the "none" desktop effects setting (was previously "Custom".

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please add your ~/.xsession-errors, /var/log/Xorg.0.log and the output of lspci -vvnn to your bug report as separate attachments? Thanks in advance.
