Bug Description
A window requested I report this. A bug against the 'update manager' package. It said to include the following: 'E: The package HAUP needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it" I am using an AMD 2800, with a msi mb. 512 mb geil memory. I have Windows installed on another drive but don't use it on this machine at all. It boots directly into Ubuntu 7.10. I had just turned the computer on. Was notified that updates were available for it and clicked the icon. When it opened this message appeared.
I hope this helps, I really enjoy Ubuntu and recommend it to everyone I know. I have built and repaired some machines for friends and family. They all leave my house with Ubuntu on them. Thank You for all your hard work. I am disabled and on Social Security with very little income. Your OS has really been great and appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
