Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org-base

Ubuntu/Kubuntu 8.04 i386 with all updates, OpenOffice.org 2.4 italian localization from Ubuntu repositories- component Base linked to MySQL (ODBC driver):

every time I use a QUERY (dynaset) and insert in a date field a "full" date, i.e. "martedì 6 maggio 2008" or also- I am an historian- "martedì 26 marzo 1532" [tuesday 26 march 1532] and copy it in another date field, this new date is ALWAYS changed in "sabato 30 dicembre 1899". This happens ONLY with the day of "martedì" [tuesday]. The other days of the week are OK: you can copy and paste them correctly. Before Ubuntu, I was a Mandriva user from version 8.0 to 2008.1, and I always found the same problem in ALL OpenOffice versions linked to MySQL (no difference between Sun and Mandriva packages).

Do you still have this problem with openoffice.org 1:2.4.1-1ubuntu2?

Thanks,
