Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

This behavior started after upgrading to Hardy Heron 8.04 LTS. After I press the "Install Updates" button, I cannot exit the update manager, entire application freezes and mouse pointer is the spinning icon when over the application window. Other applications work fine.

I don't see any log entries for update manager, but I may have missed something.

Thanks for your bugreport.

This sounds like a duplicate of bug #237325. Please install libgksu2-0 from hardy-updates. You can do this via a terminal by typing:
$ sudo apt-get update ; sudo apt-get install libgksu2-0

@cmnorton: it is importance high, but I marked it as a duplicate now, so it gets the importance from the parent bug.
